The Jimny does not ship with serious mudflaps because Suzuki kept the lower body clear for approach and departure angles. That works on a stock tire setup, but larger off-road tires throw more rocks, mud, and dust onto the body and into following vehicles.
The Salado Mudflap Kit adapts URNIETA LC70 mudflap logic to Jimny scale. Silicone rubber provides stability across -30°C winter convoy use and +60°C desert expeditions. The angle adjusts for 195/80, 215/75, and 235/75 tire setups, so the flap remains tuned to the installed tire. Fisheye ball joints and steel-cable tensioning replace looser elastic behavior with smoother motion, tighter response, and longer service life.
